Michael Ley lives with his family in the Bear Paw Mountains of Montana. His re-creation of "OLD PLACES" is a result of twenty years of fascination and research with the Homestead Era of Central Montana. The material for his buildings is collected from the actual weathered remains of original farm and ranch structures. These miniatures depict the simplicity and rugged beauty of 1900-1925 architecture in rural Montana.
