Built in the early twenties, this elegant dwelling was home to a family of dairy farmers who lived on a stream flowing out of the Bear Paw Mountains. The Williamson Place was a relatively fashionable home for the pioneer days. It even had space for a piano.. Because of the size of this house and its lack of insulation, it required two wood stoves to assure comfort in 30 below winter temperatures. In June of 1998 this tired and sagging place burned to the ground.
